All information is obtained directly from you, typically during your initial consultation. You may be asked to complete a medical history form beforehand or during your first appointment. This information is gathered under the legal basis of ‘legitimate interests’ as defined in UK data protection law.

How is your information used?

I use your personal information to:

Understand and support the conditions for which you’ve sought care
Prescribe appropriate remedies and therapies
Maintain accurate records in line with professional standards
Communicate with you via email, phone, or post

Sharing your information

I do not share your personal information with any unrelated third party, except where required by law.

How long is your information kept?

I retain your records for seven years after your last consultation. For children, records are kept until seven years after their 18th birthday. After this period, paper files are securely destroyed and digital records are erased.

Updating or accessing your information

You can request updates or corrections to your personal information at any time. You also have the right to inspect the information I hold about you. I aim to respond to such requests within 14 working days.

How is your information stored?

Paper records are stored securely in my consulting space. Digital information, such as email correspondence, is held securely via my email provider. I take steps to protect all personal data against loss, theft, or unauthorised access.

This policy may be updated from time to time. If any material changes are made, I will let you know.
